Can you post the Well we’re waiting gif for me ..
Seriously, what you’re really saying results in a stalemate and Putin can continue with your approach as long as it takes. He’s just not going to give up. The ugly truth is to break the tie, somebody needs to up their game and it will be ugly. A shame a resolution couldn’t have been agreed too and nobody is even even trying
Rubio described the fighting between Ukraine and Russia as a "stalemate" that "has to end" during his confirmation hearing last week, adding that under Trump's proposed peace deal both countries will have to make "concessions." Meanwhile, despite Trump's past criticisms of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO),

You don’t negotiate with authoritarian aggressors. Much less compliment or encourage them.
The expense is a red herring. It’s cost us comparatively little in aid to seriously diminish Russia’s military capability.
Only Russian loving, democracy hating, sheep see otherwise.
The red herring is we will inherit the financial burden of the entire Ukraine population for the next century .. Puerto Krania
How many decades will it take to weaken Russia? The Ukraine will run out of men before that happens
Biden’s proxy war is crushing the Ukraine minus the handful who are profiting Big with your tax dollars

Re: The Ukraine Crisis
What's the solution here? I think Russia is clearly in the wrong and are the aggressor. But I also think we screwed up royally by not being able to diplomatically prevent them from invading in the first place. How does this end? What does that look like? Keep funding Ukraine at the same levels until Russia is ejected from all of Ukraine, including the Crimean peninsula they stole 10 years ago? How long will that take? A year? 5 years? 50 years? Ever? What's the solution?kalm wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 8:12 amReagan also wouldn’t have negotiated stolen land for peace with Putin. Or any terrorist. No I do not. Unprovoked aggression and war crimes should never be tolerated. To accept those is to welcome a more brutal world and chaos. I’d prefer we did less of the heavy lifting but that’s our MO and it’s profitable in the end to the MIL.

Once again, for a guy so adamant on his stance, you didn't give two shits over the peace agreement the US and UK nixed. But you support that stupidity because "Putin bad". I can guarantee if your boy was over there fighting, you'd have been pissed, but you're not. You just act as if you give two shits when you don't.

Bob, I don’t hate anyone. I strongly dislike crony and unrestricted capitalism. I used to be called a kalmunist years ago on here. I take it as a term of endearment. So thank you.
Now…if you could, please highlight decade by decade for the past 100 years how the government has ripped us off. Please be sure to include the massive transfer of wealth upward since Reagan took office.
Thats it, thats all I need to say. Its always been a slush fund in the guise of helping other nations. Its total bullshit and not one American tax dollar should ever go outside of our border EVER

You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

Re: The Ukraine Crisis
That's your opinion and you know what they say about opinions ...

IMO the world peace that the US helped to create and protect following WWII has increased trade, reduced unnecessary deaths, fostered (non-military) innovation, and ultimately led to a higher standard of living. Take it away and international conflict will increase leading to less of our goods getting sold overseas and an increase in the cost of goods we buy. 35-50 years of relative peace has been good for the American people as a whole.
