Makes me wonder about the USFWS which among other things manages federal wildlife refuges. Turnbull is 15 minutes out of Cheney and I hike there and have been using it since I was a kid. It’s an unbelievably cool resource for local schools and EWU’s biology department. It’s also important habitat for nesting trumpeter swans, moose, elk, black bear, and a variety of song bird and waterfowl species.

A separate report said U.S. consumers are also preparing for higher inflation, in part because of potential tariffs that could raise prices for all kinds of imports.
