No, as usual you don't have that right. As usual, you can't argue with what I say so you put words in my mouth and argue against a strawman. I never said that my version of Christianity is correct. In fact, I'm almost certain it isn't.

That doesn't mean that I can't point out the hypocrisy of people who self-identify as Christians yet fail to follow Christ's teachings. I am not alone in that opinion. A religious expert much more qualified than you or I agreed with me ...'

Pope Francis

You are not a serious person on this topic. Fraud.

Punch yourself in the face until you're unconscious and return to the kids table when you wake up ... :coffee:
This you?
I have not read the bible in it's entirety. Please moralize some more and tell me why I I'm not entitled to my opinion(s) because of that.

So the Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox and any other sects/denominations of Christianity are all the same version?
Only one version MYRON and you dare tell others about something you have not even read. We all clearly see who the fraud is in this conversation.

Piece of shit Christianity lying, immigrant housing denying turd.

You have proven what a laughing stock you are.
WTF are you even talking about? You stated "there is only ONE version of Christianity" and I provided examples of different versions. NO WHERE did I state or even imply that my version of Christianity is correct.

The Pope was one of the world's foremost experts on Christianity and he agreed with me on Christians who didn't follow Christ's teachings being hypocrites. This is the point you're trying so hard to dodge, deflect and avoid.

Such a nice Christian. :ohno:

The oral stories of the disciples? New Gideon’s? King James?

Most Christian’s have never read it all either. And it clearly shows.

Way to move the goal posts and try to limit the debate about versions of Christianity to Christianity at its core (that of Jesus granting us salvation). Answer this - are evangelical, Catholic, Orthodox, gnostic, Cathar, and other versions of Christianity all the same?

Where have I argued "works"? I haven't. Yes, I criticize people who self-identify as Christians for not following Christ's teachings but I don't say they won't get into heaven because of it. My arguments/criticism is about the hypocrisy of their life on earth not what will happen to them after.

But let’s be real—does this always align with Jesus’ teachings? Not entirely. Jesus didn’t seem too hung up on logistics or control; he just wanted the poor to be helped, period. He didn’t say, “Give to the poor, but only if you personally hand them the bread.” He praised the poor widow who gave everything she had, no questions asked about how it’d be used. So, the anti-welfare stance can sometimes look more like a justification rooted in modern politics—especially with the rise of libertarian-leaning Christianity in the U.S.—than in what Jesus actually taught.

It’s also worth noting that not all Christians oppose welfare. Many support it, seeing it as a practical way to live out biblical principles on a larger scale, especially in a world where systemic poverty is a beast that individual charity can’t always tackle. The divide often comes down to how people interpret “freedom” and “charity” through their cultural and political lenses.

So, in short, the opposition to welfare among some Christians is more about their view of government overreach and the importance of personal choice in giving, but it can clash with Jesus’ straightforward call to help the poor, no matter the method. It’s a messy, human tension—kinda like most things in religion! What do you think?

They would have.

I wonder how St.Peter (or whoever is making the determination) will factor in trump's mental illness (narcissistic sociopathy) and its impact on his ability to accept Jesus as his lord and savior.
