Of course it’s not normal. Whether it’s cool is subjective. On the contrary knowingly subjecting yourself to potential ridicule and increased violent victimization makes gender assignment efforts that much harder and authentic.

What’s also not cool or normal is using anecdotal evidence to support your own insecurities to display hostility, bigotry, and write laws that jeopardize the rights and safety of entire group of people that threaten you no more (and perhaps less) than typical populations but make you uncomfortable.

Whether someone is straight, bi, gay, trans, celibate, etc is none of my fucking business. I simply don’t care. I only care whether you’re a decent person.
