September 11

Post by UNHWildCats »

While at the store today I saw the front page of todays New York Daily News and as usual the focal point of September 11 is on New York City.

Eight years ago today America was attacked, and while a significant amount of damage from that attack occured on New York City it wasn't New York City that was attacked, America was attacked.

President Barack Obama stated that every year on this day we are all New Yorkers...

Every day of every year we are all Americans. Americans were attacked that day, not just New Yorkers.

Brave Americans aboard United Airlines Flight 93 after learning from loved ones over cell phones that planes were being crashed into buildings, stormed the cockpit of their hijacked flight to ensure others on the ground wouldn't be harmed. The brave people were Americans, not New Yorkers.

The heart of the American Armed Forces also suffered a deadly attack that day when American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon, 184 people from the plane and ground died, these people were not New Yorkers, they were Americans.

Today like every other day I am proud to be an American, I feel pain for our country on this day, not just for New York.

Go fu*k yourself Hussein Obama, I will never be a New Yorker.

I am a gun toting, religious redneck that you racially attacked during your campaign.

Quit politicizing this date, you cheapen everything you speak about because you are unqualified to lead, to speak, and to lead a military.

Please die soon,

Go figure, the front page on the NEW YORK Daily News focused on NEW YORK City. Nostradamus warned us about this, we should have listened.

Name the last "qualified" President. Sure as hell wasn't W. Slick Willie seems questionable as does daddy Bush. Reagan was an actor, and before that wasn't good either. But with the amount of bitching on each side and unwillingness to be logical and compromise I don't think its possible to have a qualified candidate.

Actually, GW senior was very qualified. With experience as a combat aviator, businessman, Congressman, Ambassador to China, CIA Director and Vice President, he was about as qualified as you can get!

Yet he was the only one not reelected in recent history. People must like drama.

Nah, Alphalfa, you're a garden variety dipstick whose daddy blames himself for not wearing a condom that night, never realizing that somebody else had it in for him.

Yep, suprised it didn't come earlier. :geek:
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."
