Except Thelma's numbers aren't bullshit like yours are ...

Super Bowl LX's Bad Bunny hits 130 M+ viewers, beats TPUSA’s Kid Rock concert with 6M+ streams

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Tops Kendrick Lamar’s

Why is the fvck your feelings crowd so triggered by Bad Bunny. Is fvck your feelings only allowed if MAQA is doing the fvcking? Are they really that sensitive and insecure?
She didn‘t give the same #s as your links.
And

Why are the woke leftist TDS crowd so triggered by an alternative halftime show? Are they really that sensitive and insecure?
Bad Bunny Halftime Show Viewership: Samba Data Tells a Very Different Story Than “Record Ratings” Headlines

….According to Samba’s data:
2024 — Usher: 30.1 million U.S. households
2025 — Kendrick Lamar: 28.8 million households
2026 — Bad Bunny: 26.5 million households….

….According to their household measurement:
48.6 million U.S. households watched the game overall

Only 26.5 million stayed tuned for halftime
That implies roughly 22.1 million households didn’t watch the halftime show.

Whether viewers tuned out, switched platforms, or simply weren’t interested — the retention gap is significant….

WTF are you talking about?

My drivers license allows me to buy alcohol but it wouldn't be enough to vote if the SAVE Act passes.

Do European countries require voters bring proof of citizenship (passport, birth certificate, etc.) and legal documents proving name changes (marriage certificates) in addition to ID?

Or are you saying that photo ID is enough and the rest shouldn't be required?

The meme simply stated when valid IDs are required. Reading is fundamental.

As to the ID being valid to vote, wouldn't a Real ID drivers license be considered a valid form of identification under the new bill? And in the absence of that, the bill does direct states to have a process in place where a person without a sufficient ID can sign an attestation form when voting similar to the type of process that's in place today when a person goes to vote and isn't registered. I think Europe just does a better job when handing out ID's, which is what we've been trying to get to with the Real ID's.

I believe the SAVE Act requires proof of citizenship which Real ID doesn't do. People would need their passport, birth certificate, etc. and many married women would need their marriage certificates because their name is different than their passport.

Well, you need a passport or birth certificate for a Real ID, so they already know your citizenship status, and married women already need to provide the document trail of their changing last names for Real ID as well. It sucks for married women, I get it, but watching my wife go through it, it is far from insurmountable to do. And if all else fails, again, a voter can sign an attestation form and provisionally vote. We have to stop pretending that these things are real barriers to voting when in the modern world, and indeed in almost every developed country, these things are already seamlessly done for other everyday activities. Once we accept this, then we can get to work on fixing any areas where real impediments to vote, i.e. understaffed voting precincts, exist. Granted, those are largely local issues and issues with volunteerism in this day and age, but are still solvable. Trying to pretend that voter ID is too hard just doesn't carry water anymore.

Yes, they are solvable. Yes, requiring ID is reasonable. And yes, you have the documents to get a Real ID but the Real ID itself doesn't show citizenship.

If we're going to require in-person voting then it should be a national holiday. Maybe it can coincide with Veteran's Day.

IMO, forcing states to drop mail-in voting is federal overreach.

As I've stated, I think voting should be online. We have the technology. I can dig up Ibanez's posts about it if you'd like.

The Real ID, on it's face, doesn't show citizenship. But everything you do in the leadup to get one does basically reveal citizenship status.

No problem with a national holiday for Election Day. That should be really easy. Doesn't have to coincide with Veteran's Day, just make it a day off. But it's not in the Constitution so it should be easy to change to whatever works.

Mail-in balloting is going to be a point of concern. There's no way to tell who's doing the voting. Again, this is anathema in other developed countries. And what may work in one state may not work as well in other states. Ties in with my other point - fix the local issues with where to vote and how those places and staffed and, with a day off as you recommend, there's literally no need to have mail-in voting.

As for the online, I thought it was Ibanez who was saying not to go to online voting. Given how ripe systems are for hacking, and given that the government would be in charge of setting this up (or worse, 50+ governments would be in charge of it) this just seems like chaos from the get go. The idea is to make elections more secure, not throw caution to the wind and stir up even more conspiracy theorists.

Just go to biometrics for voting

Technology /AI

No ID required

I only want one vote per person and a mail in ballot traceable back to a living person that hasn’t already voted
