What does the size of town have to do with anything? Last dude said that Greeley was 98000, so according to that fine Montana logic that they should drawing 60000? Missoula is 57000, so you should drawing about 50000??

The "pool" doesn't have anything better to do? Of course they do, we're talking about attending a UNC game here...take your pick, sandpapering an Alligator's *******, flossing a shark with your dick, hell there are a variety of choices out there to avoid attending a UNC game. Using the "Not the top dog" defense is not one of them however.
Let me break something down for you Montana folk, see the culture in Colorado is a lot different Montana. Bigger city folk, lets say from the Denver metro area, think that driving 20 minutes to get something is a pain in the ass. See I grew up in the sticks, so driving an hour or more isn't a big deal. So ya there's people that would not drive an hour to see a UNC game, you know life's a little different outside the walls of Montana.

We have all the outdoor activities that Colorado does. We have all the same football watching choices as Colorado does as far as TV goes. You name it and the choices of better things to do are the same across the board. Good excuses from the uninformed though I guess.
Since you don't get the point here it is...we have the fans cuz our program is exciting, a winner, a god damn "event" every time they are at home. Not because people don't have other options. They are the most popular option for a great time and some fun in spite of the Griz community having the same options that most of your populace has..
The point is, is that you could throw out all the population numbers you want, but it doesn't mean jack. Like I said the culture is different in Colorado that Montana. Anybody can pretty much watch what they want on TV, so what's your point? I'll agree that interest plays a big part in having good fan attendance. Someone said earlier that UNC had better numbers when they were D2, well because they were more successful, now they aren't and those numbers have gone down big time. What if Greeley was the only town north of Denver and Denver was 4 hours away? You think more fans would go to UNC games? I think so. Kinda like with Missoula, there isn't much else to do beside to go to a UM football game. Now I'm not saying that the success of their football program there doesn't have anything to do with it, it does. The fact that Missoula is kinda isolated helps out a bunch and being one of the only big time football programs in the state with a lot tradition does to. UNC could win a couple national titles and some people that lived in Greeley would probably still go shopping at the Flat Irons mall in Denver on Saturday. Not only because its some else to do but that's the type of culture in CO. Call it excuses or whatever you want homeboy, I don't give a fizzuck.
Last of all you need to quit jacking off to montana highlights and learn how to quote geezus.
