NO ONE is entitled to unlimited medical benefits. We need to figure out how to put the elements of personal responsibility and accountability back into the equation.

1) Record spending when Bush was in office was so upsetting and so disturbing it got him "re-elected" as president for a second term

2) The government take-over of "The entire US Health care system" as you call it... has not happened.. and my guess is it won't happen anything like Rush and Glen Beck are suggesting (at least I sure as hell hope not) I'm not a fan of the present US system or the proposed future system - both are ridiculous

A) The present System has always been designed to make Drug companies and insurance companies record profits - and - shouldn't involve Human lives (and is better for lawyers than doctors)
B) The proposed future system is a completely unmanageable pipe dream and places unrealistic expectations on the Federal Governments ability to "manage" which it has never proven it can do

My opinion is that the economic downturn shortly before the 2008 Presidential election was a primary catalyst for the Tea Party movement. It's what led to the massive stimulus expenditures at the end of the Bush Administration and the beginning of the Obama Administration and my understanding is that it was those stimulus expenditures that sparked a popular response.

I think that the reason the Tea Party was not "around" during the Bush Administration is that the events that ignited it occurred too late. By the time the response to the events gathered steam, Bush was out of office.

so we simply need to examine the evidence - which leads us to: Republicans have no issues with spending trainloads of money (and they never have - see Reagan spending and deficit records) they simply say they do when the other guy is in office...
