I know it's nuance... and that's one thing Obama's always criticized for. But, just because you are against parts of the Patriot Act doesn't mean you're against the whole thing.

Speaking of, did you see the Pelosi interview with Diane Sawyer? Sawyer said, "Some have called you the most powerful speaker in 100 years, what do you think about that?" And, Pelosi said, "Sounds good, doesn't it?" That's all you need to know.Col Hogan wrote:Me too...but we're not his 'base" which like the power they now have...ASUMountaineer wrote:

Agreed... The draft dodgers that drew that one up really did an amazing disservice to America and Obama really got my attention when he screwed that up... if there ever was an easy VETO - especially from the guy who didn't vote for the War on logic (I mean war on terror)
He lost me right there..!!!

Gotcha.
Who would want to go to the "heartland" anyway? Sounds boring.
Only on the surface, 'jelly. Take it from a born and raised Californian, the mid-west is a great place.

Wow, for the first time..ok..one of the few times, I agree with that Skjelly!
But to completely agree I'll have to:
A) Pass it through my thoughts
B) Send it to my brain for approval
then, with both versions being identical, it will be mentally constitutional.
I can, however, approve it in both cognizant realms without it being identical if I also include a reconcilable "automatic thought" that would justify its existence.

Haha, it probably is. It will always remind me of my leg of a CO>NC roadtrip on I-70 through Kansas. As long as the rest of the midwest is better than that, I'll give it a chance.houndawg wrote:
