Couldn't agree with you more on that point.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:The goodness of the idea goes up exponentially when its in North America. Puts Americans to work, brings new money INTO our country instead of it going OUT to middle eastern fronts for terrorism. (OPEC)

You angry CONK act is boring and old.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Really?
I want to drill anywhere anytime anyplace.
It seems to me that Hussein Obama is the one that is backtracking on what he promised during the campaign so you fu*king morons would vote for the guy.
Lets see:
Hasnt and wont close Gitmo
Escalating the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
Drilling for oil and backing off his alternative energy BS
Fu*k I dont have time to list all the things hes stuffing in the lefts ass.
Good God are you ever a douchebag supreme.mainejeff wrote: DRILL BABY, DRILL! (preferably off the Delaware coastline!)

One thing it won't do is lower the price of gas at the pump. The bottleneck is the refinery, not the supply of crude.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Its always a good idea to drill for oil, anytime anywhere.

If it does a little damage its a small price to pay for our way of life and we can fix it later. We have enough oil underneath North America we may as well use it since we have more than anywhere else.
You guys go on believing the we are running out BS but please dont induce anymore idiocy into this thread Hussein Obama has already done enough of that.

Yep.houndawg wrote:One thing it won't do is lower the price of gas at the pump. The bottleneck is the refinery, not the supply of crude.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Its always a good idea to drill for oil, anytime anywhere.

Why? Delaware is only a state of mind.93henfan wrote:Good God are you ever a douchebag supreme.mainejeff wrote: DRILL BABY, DRILL! (preferably off the Delaware coastline!)

Is that? even a real sentence?ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Is Delawhere? even a real state?

Fu*k we agree on something. I was hoping someday you would elevate your game.houndawg wrote:One thing it won't do is lower the price of gas at the pump. The bottleneck is the refinery, not the supply of crude.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Its always a good idea to drill for oil, anytime anywhere.

Let's build them where nobody lives, like Montana. That way only a few people would be inconvenienced by the pollution, odor, and any potential accidents.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote: If we build some more refineries more people are working to build and operate them and once agin it KEEPS MONEY here in the US. I may even be swayed into Appas idea of using decomissioned military bases/land to house refineries.

It's a parking lot next to Philadelphia, I think.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Is Delawhere? even a real state?
I am pretty sure its part of Canada or Iceland.

Totally agree and its an even better scenario.

There won't be any refineries built. If you're the oil industry why would you want to increase supply and reduce demand (and pump price) when you're making record profits with the status quo?
You need to start thinking forward, past oil.

Agreed. Gas prices are going to go up a good bit this summer and Obama wants to minimize the damage that will do to the donks in November. I want to drill, but there are better places.travelinman67 wrote:Opening up land leases off the coast of VA, while keeping AK, CA and the Gulf under restriction...
...and putting the timeline as 2012?
This was nothing more than a political move to shore up voter support for the 2010 midterms.
More Dem lies and obstruction.

Its the enviros and donks who've in the past blocked oil refinery expansion:houndawg wrote:ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:

Most likely thanks to the Republicans.TheDancinMonarch wrote:If one drop of oil or 1 cubic foot of natural gas comes from this decision then I say kudos to Obama but I doubt if we will see either.
