I scored a 24 on the Millenial quiz. I probably could have predicted that.

One answer I thought was interesting was... "Being successful in a high-paying career or profession is not important to you personally." The responses went the opposite direction than I would have guessed.

Don't be so hard on the young folks. They've been subjected to endless commercials and advertisements which promote materialism, but they don't have enough life experience to know that there is virtually nothing for which you pay money that will actually make you happy -- that the things that truly make you happy are available to you for free. I didn't have that perspective when I was 25.

You are a young guy. Do something you truly enjoy. As for me, I'm grateful to have legal training and experience but I am also hopeful that within the next few years I can change my focus to use those skills in a way that more tangibly benefits people.

I got 11, but I had to stop on question 1 for a moment. There ARE exceptions to the INA rule about birth inside the US, where you can be born here, but under certain circumstances citizenship can be contested, but I figured they were looking for the technical answer, which was yes.

On the "high pay" thing:

High pay would not be important to me if other people didn't depend on me. But other people do depend on me so, yes, being successful in a high paying profession is important to me.

If you are single with no children depending on you, you can take a lot more liberty with how important material success is to you. Once you have children, everything changes. Then it is no longer about you, what you find gratifying, etc. I mean, it's great if you can both be gratified and also maximize your childrens' chances. But your own gratification and sense of satisfaction becomes a decidedly secondary priority.

They didn't ask to be brought into existence. You did it. And you probably did it while selfishly pursuing your own pleasure. Once they're here, your own wants and desires have take a back seat unless they cooincide with your children's best interests.

11 of 11. Thought was rather easy. I follow current events and politics more than the avg person (but not necessarily sports, as the only sport I follow outside of football season is NASCAR). Probably 3-4 times a week I ready the USA Today, WSJ, and my local paper, plus get a local weekly, plus some talk radio and FNC, plus all the time I spend on here getting reams of knowledge from all you f**ckers , so I realize I am more informed than the avg person, but come on. The avg person who bothered to take this quiz is probably slightly more informed than the avg citizen. Pathetic.
