It has nothing to do with intelligence. I was intelligent enough to finish chemical engineering at UD, but I was too fucking lazy. That being said, the vast majority of education majors at UD were intelligent, dedicated people that were preparing for a career making a difference in kids' lives. And yeah, if they aren't happy with their salary, bennies, or work environment, the world always needs truck drivers and call center operators.
