Agreed. The MSU game makes me uneasy, but history is on our side, and their performances are a little skewed because of the caliber (or lack thereof) of opponents they've played so far. Either way, should be another battle, and if we don't turn the ball over like we did against UM, I think we win. MSU is out their two starting guards, and a starting DT for this one. They've also had trouble stopping the screen and bubble passes... where TJ flourishes. I will definitely feel better about our chances if we can get the W over in Bozeman (which we've done the last 3 times there. :D )
Good Luck!! Are any of you Eagles fans coming over for the game?
If I could I would!

How in the f is that possible when they just lost to Eastern Wash? EWU runs through MSU & WSU and its all smooth sailin from there.

Game Over. RED TURF FTW.
:coffee:
AGREED.

IF this happens, and luckily we will find out very soon as those are EWU's next 2 games, then EWU can call it game set and match for the Big Sky. :thumb:

For the same reason the Yankees lose 60 games a season....
With 6 turnovers we were still a bad call on 2nd and goal from the one away from winning

The real question EWU has to ask themselves is why the Fck did they need every last second of the clock to win the game when the other team committed 6 turn overs?

Nope, we'll still have SAC and NAU who both might prove to be title contenders.

Because we had 4 turnovers of our own and the 4-play sequence in the 1st quarter that started with a missed deep ball to a wide open Taiwan where he was 10 yards behind the secondary, followed by a pick six, followed by an EW fumble on the return, followed by a Montana touchdown on an end around.

We go from up 7-0 to down 14-0 in a hurry. So in essence, I agree, the game shouldn't have been that close. :coffee:

Eastern got us.

I really don't think it's forgone that you have the BSC sewed up though cuz I'm not real sure you're gonna get by MSU Eastern may be different this year but teams that get a win over us normally fall the next week and the fact that MSU in my opinion is the best TEAM in the BSC right now you may not have long to rest on the ol' victory BF. You guys get by that game then I could see a BSC Chapionship in your future but we're only one game in thus far.
Heere you go again! At first it was Montana EWU had to beat , now that they beat Montana, OHHHH all of a sudden Montana State is the best team in the conf? GET THE FCK OUTTA HEAAA! Stop back pedalin', ya contradictin bastard!
:coffee:
Are you too fuckin' stupid to see what I'm saying here? MT is not the best TEAM right now. The last two games prove that outright. MSU is playing the best TEAM ball right now. EWU has far & away the best player in this game and it may be enough to win the game but I wouldn't bank on that.

Pull your head out of your filthy, jizz filled ass.

thats the wrong question. if wsu didnt have a boat load of turnovers we'd have gone 11-0 last yr. when it comes to final results a team can have all the talent but if they can't hold on to the ball then it doesn't matter how good we think a team is because the final score is all that matters.

And if the ball hadn't slipped out of Selle's hand and if Nguyen hadn't blatantly f#cked up every return and the punt block-six and blah blah blah. You can play that game for both sides for every game :coffee:

I agree, I think MSU has the better TEAM right now but there is no one in the FCS, IMO, that will touch Jones. He accounts for most of their offense..you can't stop him, just try to hold him down.

I totally forgot I wrote that. I'm with AZ, though, if we get to week 5 and the Griz are 1-4, then I'll eat my crow.

Until then you can suck my taint, BF. :kisswink:

I absolutely agree with you. I'm worried if Montana doesn't turn it around that could be looking at a 4-6 win season. My point is that EWU shouldn't be anointing themselves the BSC champs just yet. With our 6 turnovers they should have blown us out. The fact that they needed every last second of the game to win eventhough we committed 6 turnovers shows that they still have a lot of work.

So then you agree that it is perfectly understandable that a Griz fan could think UM is the best team in the Big Sky

That said, EWU has NO chance of taking down the Griz.
#2 SouthDakotaGrizzly
Don't worry, things will work out for the Griz. They always do :thumb:
#3 Bandl
["The Griz reign is officially over"]...is quite possibly the biggest flaming piece of poo thread of started on this forum that actually isn't about ****.
#4 UofMMan1122
If any team knocks us off this year, it will be MSU. It WON'T be EWU.
#5 SeriousKev
6. Just because you use the word "official" doesn't mean it has happened yet, or that it is true.
#6 CrunchGriz
[Taiwan jones]...may be 'the real deal', but I'll take Chase, thanks. He flat knows how to win, and often puts his team on his back to get there.

This thread seems to be a whole lot of wishful thinking.

OK, Falkin's got to be clowning. I like to think I'm as big an Eagle fan as any, but this crap about the Griz reign being over is senseless.

Stop crying for attention. The red field was enough. We own you.

End of story.

EWU fans are fast becoming one of the saddest fanbases on this site.
Sorry Screamin', I enjoy your internet "badassery" and general Bro humor, but your fellow Eagles are bringing the bar down rather fast.
#14 WyomingGrizFan
The turkey that started this thread is looking more and more like a plucked chicken. Maybe EWU should change their mascot to either one or the other. That'll be good. The Eastern Washington turkeys or the Eastern Washington Plucked Chickens; the choice is yours.
#15 PenthouseClosedEnd
I'm guessing they'll [Montana] march in, set an attendance record, embarrass East Washington in the Tampax Dome and go on to an undefeated season in the Big Sky.

#16 Grizzaholic
BF, are you going to be around if the Griz end up winning this weekend?
#17 Grizalltheway
You declare victory more often than you master your domain. And that's saying something
#18 AzGrizFan
Every year they're ready to throw dirt on UM's grave. Every year they're wrong. This year will be no different. :coffee:
#19 Kemajic
The Griz have EWU right where they want them. EWU is unlucky to follow a Griz loss with a game in Cheney...
#20 AlphaGriz1
[D]oes this goatfucking closet homo even know what is going to happen to his falkins tomorrow in Cheney.

My how the mighty has fallen....at the hands of Eastern Washington University! Its a wrap b:tches!

Just because they lost to a good EWU team does not mean that their "Reign is over." Before you get a swelled head maybe you should worry about the rest of your Big Sky schedule as it will not be a cakewalk, starting with MSU this Saturday. :twocents:

You guys are funny. If turnovers and lack of discipline were not factors in football you wouldn't have lost either. Hey, why don't we throw out the TD at the end since it didn't really matter anyway. You guys only lost by three!
