I dont think a team has ever come to Fargo either inside or out that didnt have some fans along.
I believe the rule states that if the defense blocks an extra point and returns it to the opponents end zone they score 3 points. If thats correct, and they do that twice, the score is now 12-6. Its a given that RMU is going to get a safety so the smart money is on a 14-6 score.bisonguy wrote:How the hell does the NDSU defense score a field goal, much less two of them?Cap'n Cat wrote:Bob Morris 14

Exactly.UAalum72 wrote:NCAA Rule 8-1-1 . On a "Try Down" two points are awarded for a touchdown and one point for a field goal or safety. That's the two-point conversion rule for the offense, or for a return for TD by the defense.
I think a few years ago a team (Furman?) lost a I-AA playoff game when they scored the 'winning' touchdown in the last minute, tried to run for two (either to get a 3-point lead or to avoid a blocked XP kick) but fumbled the pitch and it was returned for the winning 2-point score.
WinterJBB wrote:Blizzard conditions are the name of the game in Fargo through Thursday. Travel shouldnt be affected if RMU is flying in on Friday. Its probably the only day they can get in anyway. Too bad they cant come a day or so early, see the sights and enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the FM area. I think you folks from back east are really going to enjoy it.

They are better than the NEC teams that we have played, but we beat those teams like a freaking drum. I think they may hang around for a while but NDSU will be too much for them to handle at the dome.JBB wrote:That looks a little lopsided FargoBison. Ill take it though.
I just dont think RMU is a typical NEC team. You would think they were the BISON when comparing the Colonials to the NEC.
Its possible to hold them to 10,
Its going to be tough for NDSU to get 31.
The Colonials are in town. They will be at the FFD this afternoon.
Game on!
