Won't argue that he might be the first FCS player selected in the upcome draft, but when you say best at his position, what position are you thinking of?
Talley called him the best he’s coached in 30 years. Was on the preseason Outland watch list- unheard of for a I-AA lineman. Was on the pre season Payton list- almost unheard of for an o-lineman. Talley said the scouts had told him possible 1st to second round. This is the 5th time I’ve watched Nova, 4th time on TV just this yr, and he’s one of the most dominant I-AA players I’ve ever seen, certainly the most dominant o-lineman. Was clearly better than Ducasse of UMass last yr, and Ducassee was a 2nd round pick. Try ignoring the ball and just watching him and you’ll see what I am talking about. Whoever Ijalana is blocking will be completely taken out of the game. Right now its #54 for ASU. Its like ASU has only 10 defensive players in the game.

Last 3 plays on Nova's TD drive he completely blew guys up, (once lined up on the right side).

My bad, I thought you were refering to Sczcur. I love good OL play, I'll watch Ijalana.

#54 for ASU is Jabari Fletcher... All Conference, Buchanan finalist. So.. he's no slouch. And Ijalana is definitely having his way with him so far.

If a 4-point lead with three quarters to play is "getting smacked up" then yes. Yes they are.

Aren't you the guy that tries to hang onto EWU's 3 point loss to App as a moral victory of spectacular proportions?

So... 3 point loss = so close that it's practically a win. 4 point deficit = getting smacked around.

:?

I expect the Nova defense settle down and limit those App big plays.. if they do Nova has a real good shot to win the game.

If Nova is fortunate enough to have this game wrapped up late in the fourth quarter, could I ask a small favor that one of the App players just go ahead and lean on Szczur's ankle a little?
