There's an easy way to find out. Call them and see if they're cheaper than Geico for identical coverage. That should clear it right up. I'm a bottom line kind of guy.bobbythekidd wrote:Jeez. I've never seen people so in love with an insurance company before. Is it better than GEICO?
I have heard that USAA is not always the cheapest. I will say that their customer service and claims (I've had at least four claims I can recall off the top of my head) are top notch. I had a parking lot fender bender three years ago where I was completely stopped and a woman looking for parking spaces on Black Friday, head on a swivel looking everywhere but in front of her, drove right into my car with her SUV, nose to nose. Then she had the gall to say it was the other way around. They paid my deductible immediately, trusting my side of the story. My car was repaired two days later with no out of pocket cost to me. They have very good control over their contracted body shops, and the ones they use are some of the best.
Lastly, how many year-end checks has Geico sent you over the years?
