dude... you live in a bubble. it's all good, so do i - i just recognize it. in 2004, I didn't know 10 people who voted for Bush... by your logic Bush should have lost by Mondale-like numbers...SuperHornet wrote:"High unfavorables"? What the heck does that even mean? I don't know a single female outside of possibly my Democratic-leaning mother who doesn't like Sarah Palin. I even know Democratic women who like her (even if they won't vote for her). You make it sound like women everywhere wake up every day with the sole goal of trashing her name. I just don't see it (outside of MSM).
thing is, the people in our lives generally are people who think like, or at least similarly, to the way do. we self-segregate in this way a little bit. we live in neighborhoods that tend to be one way or another, we go to churches that tend to be homogeneous politically... just the way it is.
in the case of Palin - the polling doesn't lie. most women DESPISE her. hardly surprising - women generally despise the GOP - the gender gap is HUGE. Palin's fans are generally pretty fanatic in their support, but in her case her support is a mile deep and an inch wide.
