I've hated Jeff Gordon less and less as the decades have gone by. :coffee:

I'm not a Kyle Busch fan, but mad props on that race. :notworthy:

Also, kudos to NASCAR for getting the superspeedway package back to competitive racing. That two-car draft from last year was not very entertaining.
No way this guy is really black.......

That was a hard lick she took. She's probably never been banged that hard before. :geek:

It was interesting to see her hold her hands up in the air like that. I'd never seen a driver do that before impact. Heard Tony Stewart say they do that in open wheel racing because the steering wheel will break your thumbs or wrists since they don't have power steering.

Of the wrecks I have watched, they all seem to have it drilled into their heads to let go of the wheel. I bet it would hurt like a bitch even if it didn't break something if you didn't.

Here's to one of the Busch brothers turning her on the first lap.

For what it's worth Danica wrecks (her fault or not) before lap 100 today and my dislike and disdain for Jeff Gordon has grown exponentially over the years. Miserable weasel!

Ah, that feels better.

When is this fucking race going to start??!! I guess it is like the Super Bowl where there is 3 hours of coverage before the race.

The scheduled start was 1:30pm EST. I always check Yahoo Sports for actual start times, because Fox and NASCAR.com keep that guarded closely.

I know. Looks like it may turn into a night race. If it takes 2.5 hours to dry the track, and it is still raining, it could be a late one. FUCK the NBA game tonight.

Just checked radar on weather.com and there's a line of rain all the way out in the Gulf to south of New Orleans that looks to be headed for Daytona all day.

Time to go shooting!

Well fuck. I have a pork loin and an Elk loin in the crock pot and had plans of sitting around today drinking beer and eating good food. Now that is shot in the ass. Fucking windy again today so shooting won't be as fun. FUCK ME. Guess I can go reload some shit. I blame this on YOU.

Sorry. No smoking while reloading. It is a rule or something.

(not sure smoking could ignite smokeless powder anyways, black powder sure)
