As far as Colorado goes…well we knocked off a Pac 12 team last season, maybe luck will have our side and we can beat 2 Pac 12 teams in back to back seasons.

BTW not a fan of 2 FBS games. Damn these budget cuts.

I'm predicting a good day for the Tigers.
Kinda doubt that one, Army has vastly improved under Ellerson and had the top rushing offense in the FBS last season, only mention it because, well hell their my FBS teamTribe4SF wrote:Another good shot with Stony Brook @ Army on 9/28.
Like I said, I probably missed a couple. Quite frankly, I glossed over McNeese's because I didn't think Middle Tennessee State was an FBS team...JohnStOnge wrote:The Southland's best shot at beating a FBS is not listed in the initial post. It's McNeese State at Middle Tennessee State. The Southland actually has a winning head to head record against the Sun Belt since the Sun Belt football conference was established. Middle Tennessee State is coming off a 2-10 season.
It's understandable that this one was not on the list because it was only recently scheduled after Texas A&M bought McNeese State out in order to play Louisiana Tech on ESPN to open the season.

9/22 - SFA @ TXST
TXST will be a member of the WAC on July 1, 2012. Will be an FBS game and counter.
Sorry, with our coach and it'll be an upset if we keep them from scoring 50Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:Unless I'm missing some, which I probably am, that's 95 games. Assuming the average of about 10% are "upsets," that's 9 or 10 wins. Who are they?
I'm gonna go with...
8/30 - EWU @ Idaho
9/1 - W&M @ Maryland
9/1 - InSU @ Indiana
9/1 - ASU @ East Carolina
9/1 - Towson @ Kent State
9/1 - Southern @ New Mexico (C'mon TJ, doesn't get much easier than UNM)
9/8 - NAU @ UNLV
9/8 - UNH @ Minnesota
9/8 - NDSU @ Colorado State
9/15 - Cal Poly @ Wyoming

I just said "best shot." If I had to say now I'd say SFA is going to be better than McNeese on the FCS end of the two matchups and Middle Tennessee State will be better than Texas State on the FBS end of the matchup.CatMom wrote:Yeah, you're funny. Check our record vs SFA the past 10 years. You'll find we're 7-3 and haven't lost to SFA since 2006.
Even in their best (recent) years we came away with a W vs them. They've become our "we ain't gonna lose to these guys" team.
OK. EWU over Idaho is a given. Your picks, however, are all downhill from there. Maine over BC? That's worth a laugh. SDSU isn't going to beat Kansas, either. Samford over Kentucky? I'd accept Appy or even Wofford. But not Samford.g-webb1994 wrote:I'll bite:

I don't see much else. As for Stony Brook, IMHO, I think they have a better shot sneaking up on Syracuse instead of Army. Syracuse will be coming in to that game on 9/15 after getting a complete beatdown at the hands of crook Kiffin and Southern Cal at the Meadowlands the week before.
Why bring this shit up? All it is is bait for you-know-who. Some NDSU fans actually want to be able to talk FCS without having to weed through the trolls and the comments they draw out of others.grizzaholic wrote:I thought Colorado State was going to just forfeit so they wouldn't get any injuries from playing NDSU?
While I'm not so sure that I'd call Weber over Fresneck a "done deal" in the same way I'd say for EWU/UM over Idaho, I wouldn't write it off, either. Fresneck isn't what they have been, so a Wildcat upset is definitely within the realm of possibility.WeberAlum02 wrote:EWash over Idaho and Weber over Fresno. After coming oh so close the last three times vs MWC teams, Weber will get it done this time vs a lousy Fresno St team.
