As I noted in the Romo thread, I think the Broncos bringing in Manning could be of benefit to both the team AND to Tebow. It's a chance to learn under an aging mentor who still has the skills but will only be around for a few more seasons as a player. The mentoring relationship would benefit Manning as well, as it would be a chance to prepare for his (hopefully) future life as a QBs coach and/or OC.
The other obvious deal would be to ship Tebow to either Miami or Jacksonville, where the fan base would welcome him with open arms. The worst thing would be to outright cut him (after all but handing him the keys a couple of months ago) or to ship him someplace with no chance of winning in the foreseeable future (like Buffalo).
So, as a Tebow fan, I like the move IF the Broncos (and Tebow) play their cards right. There's no guarantee that they will, but I hope they do.
