Well I am not sure what is going on but the quote you quote was not typed by medbackjon wrote:Seriously, you need to stop listening to Rush and hannity, stop watching Fox News, and actually learn something.wildkyle wrote: true but things have gotten worse since vietman. the left only wants us to fight wars that do nothing for the us
The left is not this evil anti-American force that wants to see our country destroyed. IMHO, it is more patriotic to make sure that when we send our men and women into harms way, we are doing it for the nation's best interest, and have it done correctly.
I don't know of a single person that was opposed to going after Al-Queda and the Taliban in Afganistan after 9/11.
In Kosovo, the US went in with a plan, an exit strategy and allies. As a result, ONLY TWO Americans died in combat in the Balkans. Compare that to the 18 combat deaths in Grenada. Talk about wasted lives.

We are losing there.....we only hold one or two cities, and that is tenuous at best....had we poured the combined resources from Iraq & Afghan into Afghan, then this would have been over a while ago....instead, we leave our soldiers confined to tiny outposts subject to daily attacks with little or no support....either we go all in via the Powell Doctrine or get out and call it a draw like Vietnam....but, let's not half-ass it anymore like we have the previous 7 years....wildkyle wrote:obama is going to talk to the taliban because he decided that we are going to lose to them. he even said were losing there

might want to take a break from the faux news channel and join the rest of us in reality.....we CAN win without a doubt, but after 7 years of fumbling the job, we sure haven't made it a priority....wildkyle wrote:give my a break we are winning there. you need to watch something besides cnn. you want the truth watch fox news

Ya know, Kyle, you were funny at first...you are now getting old...wildkyle wrote:give my a break we are winning there. you need to watch something besides cnn. you want the truth watch fox news

So, the president should act based on opinion polls? Sounds like you're a Clinton man youngin. He was notorious for relying on opinion polls. You need to read up on history and actual facts, not what Papa O'Reilly tells you.wildkyle wrote:according to the polls that were taken at the time the stimulus was opposed by the american people by large majoirtys
