I miss Citdog.
I really enjoy all the love from The Citadel. It is really kinda cute - text me dirty pictures at night, act tough on CS during the day.
Love you Citdograd1990!!!

I'll give you a hint. It doesn't. You're Disgusting.
If you support Obama, you support a person with a God (a Christian one, mind you...or a Muslin one) syndrome who kills civilians, ignores the Constitution and Congress, and takes away our personal liberties. That's disgusting.
If you support homosexuality, you support the idea that starving women and bulimia should be at the forefront of our fashion industry...all the while supporting child labor in third world countries. And let's not forget about the money wasted on bad art. You go girl.
Hey, it was reported today that, SURPRISE , Obama signed a secret order to support the rebels in Syria. Those nice rebels...who just executed 14 people....and hanged a civilian.

More important than praying god's mercy on the heathen gays?
What a crock. The Chickfila dude has a right to his opinion and anybody that doesn't like it can spend their money elsewhere. There is no law against being stupid, even if this clown does insist on severely abusing the privilege....

Yesterday was my cardio day and after I finished I wanted to go get a lemonade (Chick makes their lemonade with juicers, it's really good). I have two Chick Fil-A locations within 10 minutes of my apartment and both were packed. At one location the police were directing people into the drive-through. Came back around 7:30 and there was no food left except some sandwiches and some nuggets. I hadn't heard of the CFA appreciation day so I assumed CFA was having a discount day for damage control, but I was wrong. I kind of got into it with a guy in the parking lot who was being a dick.
I'm convinced that this is mostly a battle about stupid semantics. I mean, does anyone care if someone's medical proxy is someone of the same sex they aren't related to? Or if some gay person gets citizenship for a partner they've been with for years or if two lesbians have a joint checking account? I would hope not.
I bet most of the people waiting forever in line wouldn't do it if it was for the rights of the unborn.
I think all this proved is that the economy still sucks 'cause people have way too much time on their hands. In the end, the majority of Americans still approve of gay marriage and the number is increasing annually.

What if someone just likes their chicken sandwiches? I'm guessing there are other companies that donate money to organizations I disagree with. Would you please post an image showing where all privately held companies donate their money? That would be helpful.
I'm not defending Chick-fil-a. If you don't want to go there, good on you. I am amazed that people hold such disdain about where someone else picks up fast food.
Why much anger, YT? Is it necessary to call names?
What is "disgusting" is the bad grammar and inconsistent punctuation used in the image. Shame.

If I knew anymore that directly made contributions to such organizations, I would certainly post them. Heck, I already boycotted the salvation army.
the point is, you spend at chick-fil-a, they spend money on the vilest of organizations that lobby for the taking away of rights. You're essentially bankrolling the operation by giving Chic-fil-a business.
I'm not even acknowledging Cluck's response because the logic is astronomically bad

You (we) would probably all be amazed and/or appalled if we knew half of what some companies contribute....if there's an industry, there's probably a lobby either tied directly to the industry or a lobbyist that supports the wishes of management on social issues. You can't boycott everything.

I doubt many industries donate to exodus international, the family research council, etc. I understand there are a lot of industries that contribute to causes I don't agree with. With that said, I think the above mentioned are probably worse because they've endorsed the freaking death penalty on people.

Why "such organizations?" What you find "disgusting" others may not (and vice versa).
I'm looking for a list of organizations receiving donations from all privately held companies. That way, we all can boycott every company to our hearts' desires.
I am not setting out to support those organizations and if my money unknowingly gets funneled to some organization I don't support (i.e., United Way), so be it.
The point is, that you can't possibly know where every company moves money. To use a fast food restaurant as a way to criticize social positions seems ridiculous to me. Like I said, if you don't want to patronize Chick-fil-a, good on you. I just think it's petty to disparage someone for going to a fast food chain (especially when there's so many better reasons to disparage JSO). I'll state again that I think it's sad that fast food has become the "ground zero" of social debate in our country.

Ignorance is our friend. I didn't know who Chick-fil-a gave their money to, but when I heard it was these groups, I'm not going to send my money to them. We may not know where every company moves money, but the point is that we know where Chick-fil-a does, so I'm not going to support them anymore. I'm disparaging people going there to spite people like me, but because of their ignorance of what people like me are actually saying.
voting with your money is a quite libertarian course of action anyway
