Hey in a moment of pure honesty he said that he didn't earn the starting job back it was given to him by Joe Gilliam.Bradshaw said he had never seen anybody throw the ball like Joe Gilliam.Bradshaw made NFL films all-time list of NFL greats at #50 he was presented by comic Dennis Miller a Pittsburgh native.Miller compared him with MLB legend Nolan Ryan in terms of arm strength.93henfan wrote:Yep!!!!!dal4018 wrote: You mean that strong armed hillbilly from Cajun country??

Fouts is in the HOF. Hadl OUGHT to be. Humphries was a one-hit wonder who will never SNIFF Canton. He just got lucky enough to "turn right at the stoplight" in Pittsburgh before getting blasted in Miami....

Cunningham was a triple threat back for many years; if only he could have found a consistently good team to be a part of....

Don't get me wrong, SD. I loved every minute of what the Bolts did to the Steelers that night. And Hacksaw's call at the end of the game was priceless, even if I can't stand him as a talk show host. I just miss Fouts. He was about as successful as anyone could be when collared with a lousy defense.

The Bengals were the only team thanks to Sam Wyche that gave the Niners problems in their five SB trips everyone else they blew the opposition out.SDHornet wrote:And how many of those HOF years did Fouts get the Chargers to the SB?
