It happened in Bowling Green of all places. I guess Summit's crew won't be playing WKU anytime soon. Nightmares aplenty. All that red has to have her seeing red. Ball State decked out in all red. WKU all red gear. Bloody red all over Tennessee. :D  ;)

15 seed UTSA almost beat Baylor after taking them to overtime. A 15 seed has never won in the womens tourney. It was the first time to go to OT.

I saw that - that would have been a huge upset.

An overstatement in my opinion. In 1998 #16 Harvard beat #1 Stanford on Stanford's home court. The only time a #16 has beaten a #1, that is definitely a bigger upset than Ball St over Tennessee IMHO.

39-0 with every win by double digits. This UConn team may not be the greatest of all time, but this was the most dominant season of all time.

Some of the reasons why the UT upset might be considered bigger:

UT had never been knocked out in the first two rounds
UT has a much more legendary program
Stanford had lost their top two players to injuries in the days before the game, and without them, was not that good of a team.

All good arguments, but this wasn't a typical Tennessee team. Except for UConn, all of women's college basketball was down this year.

Agreed - not a great UT team.

South Dakota State was easily the biggest Mid-Major story of the season. Hopefully, SDSU will be a fixture in the NCAA's :D :D
