Amaro may as well solidify his tenure as the man who threw away the Phils' future. Has anyone ever depleted a team's entire promising farm system in such a short amount of time?

Look ma, I traded away the entire farm system and all I have to show for it is a bunch of $20M/year contracts on the DL and a World Series loss to the Yankees!

Well that's maybe half-true. Yes, Amaro traded away many of the Phils top prospects over the past few years not named Dom Brown, BUT, rattle off any of those prospects that are doing quite well in their new surroundings please...it's a short list.

On the other hand, the Phillies haven't 1) rebuilt their farm system & 2)Amaro has made poor decisons on major league talent to fill out the roster. Look at the Yankees & Red Sox who have rebuilt themselves are withstood injuries & are in a much more competitive state than the Phils currently.

Granted Worley did nothing for the Twins, but Revere is just not going to be a good player. His positives: His speed - it can get him some extra infield hits & he can cover a lot of ground in CF. His negatives: He has zero power, not just HR power, but extra base hits even look rare. His defense is below average, he misplays balls hot to him, doesn't always catch them & makes Johnny Damon look like he has a strong arm.
