Yeah, but my guess is they'll forget about football and go D-I. If they add football, they'd probably have to stay D-II for awhile until they had the $$ to move up.

there was a rumor at that other place a while back about them moving to D-I and adding football. People got upset because I said they wouldn't hurt recruiting for Florida teams much because nobody recruits Pensacola very hard.

Exactly, there is no doubt the Summit would like to see them go off and join the Big Sky. The Summit definitely wants to become more midwestern so I wouldn't be surprised to see Centenary leave sometime in the next decade as well.

Maybe, a big maybe, would be if the Southland lost UTSA, Lamar or Texas St. to FBS and wanted a member, they could be an option. But you'd think the Southland would want a new football school to join, like Jax St.

Centenary really does not have a place to go, and they are a great academic profile for the conferences, but a horrible athletic one. Quite the catch-22.
