Re: US SOCCER
I pretty much turned off the game after Song got sent off. No way Cameroon was coming back from a 2 goal deficit after going a man down. But apparently I did miss one of their defenders pulling a Pepe on his own teammate

I'll bet half of Americans don't realize Belgium and the Netherlands are even two different countries.GannonFan wrote:Yup, but I would pick Belgium over the Netherlands if they played each other in the next few weeks. That would be a good matchup though.Skjellyfetti wrote:Netherlands would be dark horses by that definition.

I've been to both. There really isn't much of a difference. Of course, that excludes the Walloons, who are a different animal entirely.89Hen wrote:I'll bet half of Americans don't realize Belgium and the Netherlands are even two different countries.GannonFan wrote:

I'd bet that half of Americans don't even know that Luxembourg even exists, let alone if it's part of another country or not. Geography is certainly not one of America's strong points (along with reading, writing, arithmetic, science, etc.).dbackjon wrote:Them and Luxembourg89Hen wrote: I'll bet half of Americans don't realize Belgium and the Netherlands are even two different countries.

Re: US SOCCER
Well England is now in a tough spot
A Costa Rica-Italy tie eliminates them.
To advance, they now need:
Italy to win against Costa Rica and Uruguay
Beat Costa Rica
Have Goal Differential over CR and Uruguay
