The point is that although there are people who are legitimately offended by the name (and for that reason I have no problem with them changing it), they make up a tiny, tiny percentage of the people who are making noise about it. If you aren't a Native American then it is fine to protest the name as offensive, but all the dramatics are unnecessary and quite frankly, make people look like assholes. I am referring specifically to people like Harry Reid and that knucklhead on MSNBC who suddenly cannot say the word and must warn viewers that they might be triggered by its use. But I'm not a native American so I won't presume to think for them.
