His "methods" is calling people out to explain their absurdity. He is often right but people don't want to give up their piece of the pie. He will call them out on it and eventually they give in because they know he is right.ASUG8 wrote:Christie ain't the guy IMO. He's viewed as a bully, a RINO, and a guy who either gets his way or takes his ball and goes home. I like that he's decisive, but I question his methods.
He uses public opinion to get things done more so than backroom handshake deals with other politicians. He took on the powerful NJ Teacher's Union to get them to take cuts at a time when we were in the middle of a deep recession. He pulled out of a new tunnel project to NY that was a bad financial deal for NJ. He called for a mandatory 21-day quarantine for healthcare workers returning from west Africa. He listened to the people of NJ who wanted same-sex marriage and eventually stopped blocking the legalization. You can't get elected as a Republican in NJ unless you have the support of people who typically vote Democrat. There is something to be said about that.
