What does that have to do with DONEold allegedly being against "some of the more draconian laws passed by GOP led state legislatures"?
This kind of awesome!
To paraphrase marge, we need to "stop the mentally ill and predatorial zealous religious agenda against our kids"

Got an insanely big 40v battery powering the wifi for my youngest and already have wood in the fireplace if needed, but probably not as it's pretty warm out (~45).
Will give the local power company about two hours and then I'll bust out the house generator. Unfortunately I was too lazy to fill up all my gas cans and propane, but have at least a days worth of fuel.
Update: Seems it's only our immediate vicinity, which is understandable, as we live near a greenbelt. Was able to fill up our gas cans at the local gas station. Good for about three days now if I run the generator a couple hours to keep the fridges cool and make sure septic pump runs. Have a gas stove downstairs, gas furnace and gas water heater, so pretty solid.
Update II: I'm a real man now. Generator is up and running. Whole house has power.
Yes. You get it. I'm a man now.UNI88 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 12:21 pmSeattleGriz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 8:56 pm In other news, the much dreaded bomb cyclone has hit the SeattleGriz household and our power is out. Nope! Not expected back on until Saturday around 8pm...but that might be a under-promise over-deliver sort of statement. Keep everyone from bitching and instead talk about heroics.Caribbean Hen wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 9:05 pmPower back yet?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 8:56 pm In other news, the much dreaded bomb cyclone has hit the SeattleGriz household and our power is out. Thank you. Living here for the last 18 years has taught me that the power will go out at least 1-2 times a year. This appears as if it will be a four day outage. The fourth one through the years.kalm wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 8:57 pmGood job on being prepared.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 8:56 pm In other news, the much dreaded bomb cyclone has hit the SeattleGriz household and our power is out. 600,000 lost power. SiL in Kirkland, buddy in Renton (which I guess is really a mess, our beach house.
My sister in Redmond never lost it.
Oops never mind. Trump won FL by 13.1. Maybe the ballot measure kept him from winning it by 15.

And Doggy doo was all excited about that absurd Iowa poll because it confirmed his “prediction” on scorned women deciding the election
How did he vote on the abortion ballot measure?
All healthcare, whether our system through insurance companies or other systems in other countries through state managed care, will all rely on deciding what care will be covered or even offered. There will always be people in those systems who will feel like they didn't get the coverage or the care they think they should've gotten. If everyone of those people think gunning down employees of those companies or governments is the answer to this, you'd have multiple incidents like this everyday.
