Which conservative political forum are you on? This forum isn't conservative. I am fiscally conservative and believe in personal freedom and responsibility but I'm mostly socially liberal. This site has its conservatives (89, BDK, Alphie, etc.), moderates (me, Ganny, Ibanez, etc.) and liberals (you, Jon, Geoffrey, Houndie, etc.). You think that anyone to the right of you is conservative. One of the great things about this board is the differences of opinion. Self defense is not murder and any resulting deaths could have been avoided by simply not attacking. Responsibility for the deaths lies with the attacker. Put the nation on lock down until the virus is contained, automatically enroll the entire population in the ACA for the time being without any out-of-pocket costs, and send out a monthly check to cover basic expenses for two or three months. Make it illegal to collect rent, mortgages, or any other loans for the time being, with no interest being accumulated.

People can still get groceries, medicine, and exercise outside as long as they're maintaining safe social distancing requirements. Decide which industries are essential (it'll still be a long list) and allow those people to work. Use the national guard and local police to enforce this.
