Trump pandemic response summed up

Some in the media are screwing up with that one. My understanding is that she said the science should not stand in the way of it but then made the argument that the reason for that is that the science supports it. She was not trying to say "ignore science." She was saying the science supports it.

Whether she was right about the science supporting it or not is another question. But my understanding is that she was not saying "ignore science."

We were never having football with the media leading this charge....witness how they’re handling the bumps in TX, FL, GA and AZ compared to how they suck Cuomo’s dick in Times Square, despite the fact he presided over 10x the number of deaths because of his incompetence. You KNEW if things starting going up even slightly the media was gonna be all in on the “2nd wave” bullshit, while simultaneously failing to mention the little things called protests and riots that occurred in the first 10 days of June all across the country. But noooooo, it’s all because these damned red states had the audacity to reopen and people went about their lives. Utter BS. TX began reopening on 5/1. Things were FINE until about 6/15, miraculously 15 days after the start of the protests and riots in Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio. Suddenly we see big spikes in new cases but hey, it’s all because a few folks won’t wear masks....god forfucking bid the media call out the protestors and rioters.

You're not wrong about the media and Cuomo or the protesters and rioters. There are idiots on both sides of this debate that should be called out. Trumplorables are more likely to be football fans but they're so focused on being incensed over a "hoax" that they're contributing to the loss of the season. We lost that ability with community spread. Track and trace is most effective when the numbers are manageable.

A school board meeting on mask requirements in schools in Provo, Utah was disrupted because...you guessed it...a large group of anti-maskers showed up sitting elbow to elbow. They literally booed (viral load increase) when concerns were raised.

Inslee rolled back on gathering sizes to 10 or less yesterday and no outdoor or indoor live entertainment with more rollbacks to come next week unless the numbers improve.

Kittitas County closes all the access to swimming and fishing lakes around Ellensburg. That’s an easy solution...just lock the gates to outdoor public access points.

I know football and school are done for this fall but if I lose fishing and golf again....

Isn't religion protected? Why is ok for the government to infringe upon person's religious rights but not their right to protest.

Note: I think a religious leader asking his/her followers to congregate for a service during a pandemic is selfish and stupid. Of course, I think the same of protest leaders.
