Breaking the law is no excuse even if it is for "supposedly" the right reasons. You can:

a) Appeal if one feels that the ruling was wrong

b) Build support, and change the legislation

c) STFU

:coffee:
Does the AG have discretion over enforcement?
Probably depends on the State. But that said if it opens up the State to lawsuits, it probably would fall under his discretion.

Unless you are a late 20's/early30's something conservative woman who likes the outdoors and has her ducks in a row, I will pass.
I’ve got someone right up your ally!

Don't know the lady. But not against meeting her either. ;)

What do you have against being an entrepreneur?
Nothing. I’ve known more than a few.

This guy is as much an entrepreneur as the kid selling meth in downtown Missoula. Maybe less.

Hmm, this is interesting.

One is against the law and the other wasn't. Can't blame the guy for taking advantage of politicians writing crappy legislation. After all corporations and politicians do it all the time and even lobby for it.

Aside from the law there’s also the moral angle of evading a public health measure.

What law? There is no law mentioned in the article and if there was one. Charge him, if not see my previous post about Missouri.

As for the moral side of thing that is very presumptuous of you to assume that yours and his morals are the same and not very inclusive.

You're sounding more and more like a Republican all the time. First you started talking about not wasting taxpayer money, now you are talking about morals. Maybe you found that resting place for your soul after all. :kisswink:

That’s the thing. We’re so damn attached to political tribalism and/or where we fit on the political spectrum (left right AND middle) we’ve seemingly lost our way when it comes to advocation of doing the right thing.

I know I’ve been guilty of this.

So the ends of the classical liberal spectrum range from 88 on the right and Kalm on the left?

Yes…from Spinoza to Paine…or something like that.

I’m simply a more evolved version of ‘88

Even we know when to shelve a project and put it in a museum.

Some good news about why successive immunizations work and gain efficacy.

“Every dose of the vaccine triggers another round of antibody evolution within the immune system. It seeks out better antibodies that attach themselves more firmly to the virus. It's a process called affinity maturation.

"Your antibodies are a better fit as time goes on, they are getting fancier and more sophisticated," said Prof Altmann.

If the antibodies are able to bind more tightly to the coronavirus then it will be harder for Omicron's mutations to help it wriggle free. And while the new variant is heavily mutated, it is still the same fundamental virus and has parts that have not changed at all.

Prof Charles Bangham, from Imperial, said: "You get more of them, the concentration in the blood increases and we don't know how long this is going to last, but the more times you're vaccinated the longer-lasting the immune memory is."

Begs the question then why we aren't advising people to get boosters every month now. If more is better how come we took almost a year to advise people get an additional booster shot? Why aren't we advising people to get as many booster shots now as they can schedule? :coffee:

:suspicious:

We started the jabs almost exactly a year ago. Then there’s that whole thing about time and studying efficacy on a broader scale than trials, and how long the protection lasts. And why would you need multiple booster shots immediately if the protection lasts months?
